 The Neutrik PROFI Phono connector is a precision made product designed to solve many of the problems traditionally associated with Phono connectors. These feature a chuck style cable strain relief which allows for secure cable clamping. The ground before signal function is achieved by a special shell element which protrudes (under spring load) out of the shell around the pin. It also protects the pin from undesirable contacts with foreign potentials and provides a safe ground connection before the pin contact is closed. The connectors are supplied in pairs, colour coded Black and Red. Each connector is supplied with two cable chucks for different cable diameters, which are 3.0-5.5mm (Blue chuck) and 5.5-7.3mm (Black chuck). |
