This range of accessories for the Lemo 3K.93C HDTV fibre optic connectors gives the installer and maintainer everything they need to ensure that the system performs at it's best.
It is essential for the ferrule end faces of fibre optic contacts to be clean and free from contamination to ensure the optimum performance. If system problems are encountered when a connection is made, then all fibre optic contact end faces should be fully inspected and cleaned as required.
The LF MSCOPE viewer enables quick checking of the surface of the fibre contacts and various cleaning tools are available, though the simplest and most reliable option is to use cotton buds and alcohol. The LF ADET tool is required for cleaning female fibre optic contacts.
