 This series of cost effective connectors are available in 4, 6 and 12 pole versions. The connectors mate via a simple sliding latch mechanism. Cable termination is via solder contacts, which are Gold plated. Cable clamping is via a collet arrangement which operates within a specified range, it might therefore be deemed necessary to pack out certain sizes of cable with heat shrink sleeving to obtain the optimum clamping diameter. When specifying these connectors it should be noted that cable mount connectors are available with and without the latch mechanism and if this is not considered could cause incompatibility. |
