 Our CAT5e OB cable is based on a standard CAT6 design, but is oversheathed with a rugged PE jacket, to resist abrasion and water. We have chosen CAT6 because CAT5e cables are not designed for constant reeling/unreeling, nor to have trucks driven over them! Comprehensive testing has indicated that this cable will continue to perfom to CAT5e and above, even after extensive handling in the field. |
