With the higher requirements of Serial Digital Video, HDTV etc., we now offer "true" 75 Ohm BNC connectors (A suffix and G7 suffix). To achieve a nominal impedence of 75 Ohm, these connectors are designed with a reduced dielectric around the pin. At lower bandwidths, the connector impedence has negligible effect on the signal, so the bulk of installed video coax will probably have been terminated with the "deeper cup" 50 Ohm designs. These are still available as the G suffix. All of the connectors listed below can be terminated using Bryant Unlimited's BC 12 or BC 24 crimp tools. This range of plugs feature a Gold or Silver plated centre pin and Nickel plated bodies. Both the centre pin and the sleeve are of the crimp variety. |
